"I only want to complete my mission and finish the work that the Lord Jesus gave me to do, which is to declare the Good News about the grace of God."

(Acts 20:24)

CAFOD Club

CAFOD Club are a group of Year Six children who put our faith in action to develop the Catholic Life our school and Parish Community, as well as finding ways to help our worldly neighbours. Our faith is important to us and we enjoy developing and expressing it every single day!

We meet together with Miss Pennington on Monday and Wednesday lunchtimes to reflect, pray and come up with ideas to help our school learn and grow together with Jesus. Examples of our roles in school include:

  • Planning and delivering weekly Prayer and Liturgies to every class in school.
  • Organising and delivering school masses with Father Leo.
  • Helping to decorate the display for our school entrance.
  • Leading the Bubble Benches so that other children in school can blow their worries away to God.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the reflection and prayer areas inside and outside of school.
  • Developing Prayer and Liturgy across school.
  • Fundraising ideas to support CAFOD, as well as other charities during Lent and other times throughout the year.
